Cristiano Ronaldo Named FIFA Best Player of 2016
Cristiano Ronaldo was named 'The Best FIFA Men’s Player' for 2016. The Portuguese international won the Euro 2016 with the national side and was also part of the Real Madrid team that won the UEFA Champions League.
He scored 16 goals for his club in the victorious campaign.
This is the 4th time CR7 has been named the player of the year. FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented the award to Ronaldo.
Lionel Messi & Antoine Griezmann were the other contenders for the award.
